BIRTH PREPARATION WORKSHOPS
Our workshops are taught by Registered Midwives and are specifically designed to centre around preparing for labour, birth and your first hours with baby. You will build foundational knowledge, essential skills and labour support techniques to guide you through the physiological process of birth. A reoccurring theme throughout will be the current evidence and community practices that will be most relevant to your family. Our goal is to equip you with the tools and knowledge for an empowered and positive birth experience!
Our services are designed to meet the needs of all families regardless of your maternity health care provider or intended place of birth. The workshop fee includes registration for the birthing parent and their support person.
Please feel free to contact us directly if you have significant financial barriers that are preventing you from being able to register in a workshop. We are always willing to work with families to overcome barriers to accessing the support they need.
COMPREHENSIVE BIRTH PREP SERIES
This series is designed to be the most in-depth workshop we offer and is the optimal way to prepare for your first birth. Over the 7 week period, families have the opportunity to build relationships, share experiences, and create a community of support with others in the same stage of life.
PRIVATE WORKSHOPS
Our private birth preparation workshops are designed for new or experienced parents wishing to have our undivided attention and expertise. Both the content and the length can be tailored to best suit your specific needs. **Please note we are fully booked for 2023 private workshops.**
PRENATAL BREASTFEEDING WORKSHOP
An essential workshop for all expecting parents hoping for a successful breastfeeding experience. With the right guidance and preparation many common breastfeeding challenges can often be prevented or more easily overcome. Join us to gain foundational knowledge to get off to the best start!
